A customised slug refers to the last part of the URL link that identifies a specific website page.
For example in the website URL yourstore.com/products/blue-jeans – ‘blue jeans’ is the slug.
Customisable URL slugs are only available with the Business and Unlimited plans. Upgrade now to take advantage of this powerful feature.
Using custom URL slugs for products and categories will boost your SEO and make the customer experience more engaging (for example, create easier-to-remember URLs).
How to set custom URL slugs for your product or category web page:
- From your Netcash Shop Control Panel, go to Catalog → Products or to Catalog → Categories.
- Open the product or click on the category in the list.
- Go to the SEO tab and click Customise product URL or Customise category URL.
- Enter your custom URL slug.
- Save the changes.
Custom URL slugs are automatically available in all the stores registered after 17/06/2024. If you signed up earlier and want to use this feature, please contact our Shop Support Team to help.
